Embracing the Fun in Fellowship
Our Savior’s has a number of events, fundraisers, and fellowship opportunities throughout the year. We enjoy getting together outside of worship to deepen our connections with old friends and make new ones at the same time. Even if the goal is fundraising, at OSLC we spell that FUNdraising!
Trivia Night Fellowship and Fun!
This fun and popular annual social, fellowship, fundraiser event, coordinated by Dee Ann McKinney, is held in the church fellowship hall each spring. Open to the public, this outreach opportunity is one way Our Savior’s reaches out to our neighbors and friends throughout the community. Highlights are a Homemade Italian Dinner from our congregation plus Homemade Pies Auction, Raffles, a game of True/False with the highlight being table teams of six contestants playing challenging games of Trivia. Winners are rewarded with fabulous prizes plus numerous door prizes are given throughout the evening.
Bingo Night
An annual Bingo Night Fundraiser, often paired with a chili cookoff, has been known to happen! But that is not the only time we have Bingo opportunities. Sometimes we just play for fun during congregational fellowship times and pot luck festivals.
I am sure that traveling to Women of ELCA meetings and conferences has a number of goals, but there is one very valuable benefit:
