Small Groups
Hannah Circle
Hannah Circle is a small group women’s ministry that meets for bible study the second Tuesday of each month at a rotating location of OSLC women’s homes. Typically, it is a group of 6-12 OSLC women that gather for Bible study and fellowship. The group utilizes resources and seasonal studies in “Gather” magazine.
Sunshine Boys
The Sunshine Boys is a social, open fellowship group for retired men. They meet in the fellowship hall the last Thursday of each month except November and December. We have a short devotion followed by general discussions.
Tamar Circle
Tamar Circle is a local small group women’s bible study that meets the last Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Study materials focus on scripture, faith practices and social justice issues.
Prayer Garden
Our church building sits on top of a hill that overlooks our beautiful and serene Fruit of the Spirit Memorial Prayer Garden. Created to honor members and family who have passed on, church members purchase and dedicate bricks in their memory. Also, being just steps away from the Jefferson City Greenway that winds past our grounds, the outdoor worship center (The Vine) and the prayer garden are easily accessible to the general public as well as our members.

Our Bibles in the Worship Center use The New Revised Standard Version. The readings during worship are from the New Century Version.
