CONNECTIONS Teams

the plan

Everyone in the Our Savior's worshiping community is on a team!  The vision is to be an exceptionally welcoming community which is "reaching out in love" to new people.  We are connecting and serving with new and current members to welcome and host everyone as if they are being welcomed as Jesus, by Jesus into his home.

Jesus said, "Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me." Luke 9:48

team goals

1. To be exceptionally welcoming in order to make comfortable all people in our midst (new, regular and returning members, guests and visitors).
2. To give the OSLC worshiping community an opportunity to serve in identified roles/positions (for hospitality and worship) on a regular basis.
3. To foster opportunities for more connections within our worshiping community.

team roles

In order to achieve the vision, mission and goals the CONNECTIONS teams are asked to be greeters in the parking lot and at the doors, attendants in the information center, ushers and communion assistants in the sanctuary, coffee and brunch hosts in the fellowship hall, and assistants in the nursery.  And, everyone to be alert to creating a warm and friendly space for visitors and members.
